I finally made the switch to the iPhone five and could not be happier. The phone is a quality product with great battery life and stability, all the things I was one time missing on my Android rings.
I started off with the HTC Wonderful. Initially I am liking the phone, however as time went on I would get frustrated with the battery life. I do use my phone for knowledge heavily throughout the day. This includes surfing, music, tethering and applications. That means the screen is on a lot. It got to the point that if I wasn't using my phone, I would be looking for a place to plug it in. I found that unacceptable. Also, I have lots of apps on my phone and somewhere along the line I would get an app/apps that would make the phone unstable, requiring frequent reboots. I seldom had much luck finding the culprit apps. Well, the Charge frustrated me a lot that I decided to make the leap and go to the iPhone five. I wasn't eligible for an upgrade, so I paid full cost. It is priced high however, I do think I got what I paid for. All the shortcomings I experienced on my Android rings have been solved with my iPhone five. I got the 32GB model so I haven't had issue with not having the space I need. I also like the fact that Apple often has program and firmware updates that improve on the phone. I felt like Samsung gave up on support of the Charge less than a year after I bought their phone. I am a satisfied iPhone user now. When 4G started coming out I upgraded to the Samsung Charge. The phone had a pleasant feel and a immense screen. The first phone I got would start to overheat, getting hot sitting in my pocket that I would must take it out and turn it off. I returned it for a replacement thinking it was a defective phone. My next Charge began doing the same thing over time. I got a replacement for that as well. All the issues that I was one time having with my Wonderful were happening on my Charge, as well as the overheating. The battery was lasting an average of 6 hours. I carried three batteries around in case. That is the main reason I didn't need an iPhone, because I could not carryover a spare battery with me. |
